Bearettes (and alumnae)! WE ARE A GO for the "4 the Wounded" 5k performance of the National Anthem! Here's the schedule:

* Friday, June 6, 4:30 - 6:00 PM (or whatever portion you can make!) Rehearsal / Reunion Burley Chorus Room! Snacks and water provided! I have to tell you, the idea of working with you all again has me TOTALLY stoked! Current Bearettes are welcome at this rehearsal, but are not required to attend!

* Saturday, June 7, 7:15 AM Meet at the UVA Research Park (North of the city, *not* Fontaine). We'll warm up and nail down the entrances to each of the major impact points. Performance at 7:30 AM. *NOTE* that roads will be closed, so we'll be there for the race, too. I will be running, and if you'd like to run too, there's a discount code! PM me and I'll happily send it along to participating vocalists!

Here are directions to the park / race:

and the link to the sponsor's event site:

and some info from the event coordinators:

"All of you should arrive in the Park before 7:30AM when the entrances to the Park will be closed. You will be directed as to where to park and then you and the Bearettes should assemble at the intersection of Lewis & Clark Drive and Research Park Boulevard - the intersection marked by the big red box on the diagram attached. That is the spot where all the pre-race programming will occur.

The roads will re-open as soon as the kids race is done – usually around 9:15AM.

We are really looking forward to having you all open our race!"
