Important December 10 Snow Day information!

As you are undoubtedly aware ACPS have canceled school for today.  This is a bit of a disaster for us rehearsal and preparation wise, so I am imploring you to make sure your daughters are rehearsing at home today (it's not like they'll be sledding or anything ;)

Ways they can rehearse:

  1. If they're doing chores / homework, download the mp3s and play them in the background.  It's not much, but it's *something.*
  2. If they don't have their sheet music with them (!), rehearse the part mp3s on neutral syllables like "loo"
  3. Full on rehearsal with the mp3 and sheet music - memorize, memorize, memorize, ESPECIALLY the second half of "Carol of Winter Peace" (In the Bleak Midwinter) to the end and "Voice Dance" through the transistion to the coda.
  4. Use technology!  Call, Skype, FaceTime! Rehearse with other Bearettes!

Rehearsal schedule for the week.  It is imperative that Bearettes attend as many extra rehearsals as possible!

7:50 - 9:00 AM  AND 4:00 - 5:00 PM

Thursday, December 12:
7:50 - 9:00 AM

IMPORTANT REMINDER!
Thursday's performance is FULL CONCERT DRESS: Shoes, pearls, and formal concert dress!  Students will have time to change before we leave on Thursday!

There will be no transportation from UVA after the concert Thursday.  Please pick up your daughter promptly!
