New bus arrived & luggage transfer complete. Everyone is safe.
Currently on the road- ETA 1:15 am
5: 30 pm: Here's the scoop: bus #2 has suffered a failure of the windshield wipers and I have deemed it dangerous to operate in this rain. I am staying with the bus and kids and have sent the remaining buses ahead. Those buses are anticipated to arrive in Charlottesville around 10. As far as our bus is concerned - replacement equipment is en route and we hope to be home between 2 and 3 AM. Mr. Asher has granted our kids a pass tomorrow. In the meantime, we are safe at a truck stop in Blacksburg SC. I'll be buying the kids some dinner in a little bit.
